Eric Olson (Drums/Perc)

Eric found the drums in 1994 and has been playing them ever since. He started off in the marching band (keep your jokes to yourself) and moved to drum set after 4 years of marching percussion. While Eric is primarily a rock drummer, he started out in the world of jazz and funk. This early influence still makes its’ way in to Eric’s work today.

After playing in a few bands of his own, Eric went on to work with a number of Boston area songwriters including Andrew James, Greg Schuler and Nate Niksa before moving to Chicago.

Upon moving to Chicago Eric found the Button Pushers and the rest, as they say, is history.
